Gliding through the water on a canoe, kayak or paddleboard is both an invigorating and relaxing experience, and one of the more popular pastimes on Trappers Lake. Despite its popularity with visitors, you will still feel the solitude that this beautiful lake offers. Hike your watercraft up the short, narrow trail and you will be launching in no time. For a less cumbersome experience, rent a boat from the General Store. We have an assortment of kayaks, canoes and rowboats ready and waiting at the water’s edge. Fishing on the lake is a fun challenge, and the reward of a hefty trout is likely for those who put in the effort. For those more interested in vigorous exercise, an expansive course of open water is at your paddle’s tip. Whatever manner and method you choose, you will be captivated by the natural amphitheater of rocks that tower above the water.

Take a leisurely row around the lake or spend the day fishing. The calm and peace of Trappers Lake is not to be missed. A cruise around the edge of entire lake takes about 3 hours but will be remembered for a lifetime.

Canoes, Jon Boats, and Kayaks for rent
