DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT

Escape to the Wilderness and enjoy our rustic cabins, the scenic Flat Tops and of course, Trappers Lake - the 2nd largest natural lake in Colorado.
Part of the charm is the lack of cell coverage within 20 miles of our remote lodge. This is the most desirable destination to truly disconnect from our world of technology and reconnect our souls with nature.

Power Down at Night

Trappers Lake Lodge is known for being rustic and remote. We have no electrical lines that run to us, so we produce our own energy. To conserve energy and be a little kinder to the environment we power down our generator at 8:30pm. We power back up the property at 7:00 am.  The silence of the wilderness is golden. After 8:30 pm we have quiet time- NO loud voices, music or generators.  In the quiet of the wilderness you can enjoy the warmth of your campfire and stars. The Milky Way blankets the night over the property.  You won't miss the "convenience" of electricity, and might even wonder why you needed it in the first place. Bring a flashlight or lantern for after hours and enjoy the voyage back into time.
